Donations
Our sincerest thanks to Kat, who made another generous donation to Antithesis
Common this quarter.
Antithesis Common
is an all-volunteer literary magazine. We don't pay our editors or
webmaster for their time and effort, but we do depend on our
contributors and readers to help support our content.
We hope to continue
providing our readers with the best free writing and artwork we
can find; in order to do that, we are always in need of your support.
If you enjoy the content
or the cause of Antithesis Common, please take a moment to
make a donation. Any and all monies will be used to extend our web
hosting contract and to support the writers and artists who
contribute to the magazine. No matter what, Antithesis Common
will continue to be run by an all-volunteer staff.
Using Paypal, you can
donate money in any currency or amount from your credit/debit
card, bank account, or by personal check. All transactions are
processed through a secure, encrypted, third-party server. If you
wish to donate by other means, please contact us here.
All contributors will be
thanked in the next issue. If you operate a business, this is also
a wonderful opportunity to promote your name and benevolence
(please make sure to include your name, as you wish to be
credited, with your donation).
If you're unable to make
a monetary donation, you can still help us out! We're always on
the lookout for new ideas, many of which come from our readers and
contributors. Whether you have a simple idea for a site tweak or a
clever way to advertise the magazine, we'd love to hear from you.
Also, we're hoping to
expand our editorial staff in the near future to include another
editor and a copy editor (the latter task, along with many others,
currently falls on the shoulders of Senior Editor Sharon Hadrian).
We're looking for
dedicated people with writing experience and/or formal
qualifications (particularly for the copy editing position), but
this doesn't mean what you might think it does! Some of the best
writers we know aren't English professors, or MFA candidates, or
full-time professional writers, but they do have a solid
understanding of English grammar and language, not to mention a
passion for creative writing.
We will post an official job announcement on our website very
soon, but if you are interested in either of these positions
please get in touch now by sending an introduction letter.
